Four-Track “Flavor” Peter Rauhofer Remix Package Available Now At All Digital Retailers Including iTunes on Mercury Classics/Deutsche Grammophon

The ever-innovative Tori Amos lands at #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart with “Flavor Club Mix.” The newly produced track was released in December 2012 as part of a four-track remix package “Flavor (PETER RAUHOFER MIXES)”- the creation of GRAMMY award- winning remixer/dj Peter Rauhofer.  Best known for his remixes for Madonna, Cher, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Pink, and Mariah Carey, Rauhofer injects a vibrant energy into “Flavor,” transforming its textures and injecting new energy into the haunting track.  The tracklist for the 4-song remix package is “Flavor Club Mix,” (premiered on Perez Hilton HERE) “Flavor Big Room Mix,” “Flavor Old Skool Dub Mix,” and “Flavor Club Mix (Radio Edit).”

“Flavor” was the lead single from Amos’ most recent studio album Gold Dust (Mercury Classics/Deutsche Grammophon), where she re-imagined songs spanning her rich catalogue in an orchestral setting, in collaboration with the Metropole Orchestra. With the remixes, Rauhofer takes Tori from the concert hall to the dance floor for a much welcome return to that fold. Amos has a long history of classic remixes and dance collaborations, including “Professional Widow (“Armand’s Star Trunk Funkin’ Mix”), which hit #1 on the UK singles chart and #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the U.S., a collaboration with BT  “Blue Skies”, also a  #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the U.S., and “In the Springtime of His Voodoo (remix)” which hit  #6 on the same chart.
